In the co-extrusion of tech,profile materials, the extruder that output "small materials" is generally called a co-extruder, and the extruder that output the main profile is called the main extruder. For the rigid PVC profile co-extrusion, the main extruder commonly used twin screw extruder, co-extruder commonly used single screw extruder, and the small machine series such as 25 model and 30 model used mostly. Co-extruder main application is used with a variety of main extruder, but also can be used alone, with the appropriate head to produce a variety of products.
The structural difference between the co-extruder and the ordinary extruder mainly lies in the design of the frame. According to the different frames, co-extruders can be divided into two types:
external and inline. External co-extruders can be divided into vertical, horizontal and angular. co-extruders according to different installation positions, inline co-extruders are placed on the main extruder or on the calibration table.in addition, The development of post-co-extrusion technology has added more possibilities to co-extrusion technology. lt feature is placing a co-extruder on the calibration table, and then composite and co-extrusion after the main profile is cooled and set.
